In short. Parcelane uses only the cookies it needs to work: to keep you signed in, remember your language and role, and remember that you have seen the cookie notice. We have no advertising or analytics cookies. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work, but you will be signed out.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site recognize your browser between pages and visits. "Similar technologies" — local storage, pixels, SDKs — serve the same purpose. In this policy we call all of them cookies.

2. Who sets cookies on Parcelane

Only Parcelane (first-party cookies). We do not let third parties set cookies on our pages. Services we use for sign-in (Google, Facebook, X, Telegram) may set their own cookies on their own domains when you use them; those are governed by their policies.

3. Cookies we use

All of the following are strictly necessary: the Platform cannot work without them, so they do not require consent and cannot be switched off individually.

  • access_token — keeps you signed in. Contains a signed session token, not your password. Lifetime: 7 days from sign-in. Deleted when you sign out.
  • pd_lang — remembers the interface language you chose. Lifetime: 1 year.
  • pd_role — remembers whether you last acted as a sender or a traveler, so the right screens open first. Lifetime: 1 year.
  • pd_vid — an anonymous random identifier used only to count unique visitors in our own statistics. It is not linked to your account and is not shared with anyone. Lifetime: 1 year.
  • pd_cookie_consent — remembers that you have seen this notice, so we do not show it again. Lifetime: 1 year.

4. Cookies we do not use

We have no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or Yandex Metrica), no social-network pixels and no cross-site tracking. If we add audience measurement in the future, it will be switched off by default and asked for separately in the cookie notice, and this policy will be updated first.

5. How to manage cookies

  • You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge each have a "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data" section).
  • Blocking all cookies will sign you out and reset your language; everything else on the Platform will keep working.
  • Signing out deletes the session cookie immediately.

6. How long we keep cookie data

The maximum lifetime of any cookie we set is 1 year. Data derived from cookies (for example, the count of unique visitors) is kept in aggregated form only.
